MAPS--How To Avoid It
Hi,
My message
is very short today--but very important for you and everyone
on the net. Save this email and tuck it away where you can look
at it occasionally. It will help you immensely here, and in
your net dealings with other merchants too.
Did you
figure out what MAPS in the subject line was?
The answer
is S-P-A-M spelled backwards, and this is what I'm going to
help you with today...
The net
has changed a lot in the last year. The amount of s-p-a-m has
increased to stupidly high levels.
I've noticed
too that almost everyone buying or enquiring about the Honest
Lotto System uses a free email address - Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo,
Earthlink, and so on.
Well, that's
fine I guess. But if you use any of those, you should expect
a few problems. And before I explain, let me remind you that
I answer EVERY email I receive. Yes, every one, even when I
get over 1,000 emails a day,
s-p-a-m included.
But occasionally
some of my replies don't get back to you. And the main reason
is the way s-p-a-m is treated by your email host.
Your email
hosts are making life tough for us, the genuine merchants. They
are setting the silliest s-p-a-m and virus filters on our messages,
effectively blocking the good with the bad.
Even the
word f-r-e-e can cut our message dead.
And it forces
us to do funny spelling which makes it harder for you to understand.
As well,
some hosts will bounce back any email with attachments. Now
that's just plain ignorant. Because PDF files (those are the
only one I use) cannot contain or carry viruses, and pose no
danger to anyone. They are the safest attachments around. That's
why I use them exclusively.
NOTE: You
should get worried about unknown ZIP files or EXE files. Do
NOT open those unless you know what they contain. Even then
- if they come from an address you know, they could be viruses
from a friend's address book,
unknowingly passed on.
So if you don't get a reply from me within 48 hours, here's
a checklist--what you should do if you think I don't reply to
you:
1) Put my
ken@kensilver.com or ken@honestlotto.com email addresses on
your "white-list" or "accept" list, if your
host uses them. Check their FAQ or Support Desk to find out
if you don't know.
2) Check
your "deleted emails" folder. Some hosts like Yahoo
put suspected s-p-a-m emails into your delete folder so you
get the chance to see it before you get rid of it permanently.
3) Don't
use free hosts if you have an alternative! If you have another
email address, use that instead.
Don't worry
that I will s-p-a-m you because I will never do this. I have
strong standards on s-p-a-m and you won't get anything like
that from me. I've been in business on the net for over a decade
and had no problems with any issues anywhere.
4) Make
sure you are polite and businesslike. Sometimes someone - maybe
1 in every 500 messages - has a bad day and takes it out on
me. But my own filters ensure I never see these rude messages...
they are deleted
permanently. So be friendly and happy, and we'll all get along
fine, and I'll get your message for sure.
5) Put something
in your email Subject line that refers to L0TT0 in some way...
maybe a reply from a newsletter. Or even just the word. But
don't leave it blank - that automatically gets deleted and not
read of course.
6) If you
don't know why I'm writing to you, it is probably because you
did my Millionaire Test. At the bottom of the Test box you'll

7) If you
don't want to get my zippy, action-packed newsletters, and be
maybe one of the three each newsletter who gets a f-r-e-e Honest
Lotto System,
just unsubscribe at the bottom of your newsletter. Don't bother
writing to me because I'll only ask you to do it that way anyway.
Because if I have to do it, I automatically put your email on
a blacklist, which means you'll get
nothing from me ever, and you won't be able to contact me either.
Gee, this is a lot of information just for controlling email,
isn't it?
But it's
necessary. You need to know why things happen, and I'm good
at telling you stuff in great detail!
